Community Participation Services and Supports
Community Participation Services and Supports (CPSS) initiatives create opportunities for people to participate with their community, through activities that focus on elements that are social, educational, artistic, cultural, recreational, work-related or volunteer-based. CPSS has four main community-based initiatives: the Adult Literacy Centre, Employment Services, the Arts Hub, and Fitness Friends.
While the Adult Literacy Centre and Employment Services welcome community partners and employers, people who would like to receive these individualized supports tailored to their own learning and employment goals are asked to contact Developmental Services Ontario.
The Arts Hub, Rhizome, and Fitness Friends welcome community participation and partnerships and invite adults of all abilities to explore creativity and wellness together.
CPSS initiatives make positive contributions through building community and by enhancing everyone's engagement in life and in community.
