Tea at the HubMondays, 10am-12pm (no tea on March 11) – Visit and enjoy a beverage and conversation. No sign-up required, donations are appreciated.

Dungeons and Dragons – Tuesday, March 19, 5:30-8pm – Join us as we prepare to go on an awesome adventure with tabletop roleplaying game Dungeons and Dragons. This series will be played in a collection of one-shots, so if you cannot make it to all the games, don’t worry! Just jump in when you can! Please come to play with a level 2 character. Gelli Plate Printing – Tuesdays, March 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 1pm – 2:30pm – Join us as we play with our new gelli plates, creating papers for your use in collage, card making, mixed media, or journal creation. In this short 6-week workshop, we will learn how to care for the gelli plates, the use of the plate, and different techniques for creating special effects. This workshop requires pre-registration and is limited in numbers. Please phone to sign up or for more information 807-407-5660. The fee for this six-week workshop is $25

Sketch-a-doodle – “The Scene” – Wednesdays March 6, 20, 27, 3:30pm-4:30pm – Join Tersoo as he guides us through another session of playful sketching and figure drawing. This session, along with brusing up on our figure drawing, we will work to create a scene using every square inch of the paper. This session is a fun, skill building workshop. Open Studio – Wednesdays, 10am-12pm – The doors are open! Come on in and chat about what’s up at the Arts Hub and in the local community arts scene. RSVP to 807-407-7449 if you’d like to work on any special or specific projects during your visit and we can prepare a space for you ahead of time, but casual drop ins are welcome.

Laughter Yoga – Wednesdays 12pm-1pm – Laughter yoga is an exercise program developed by Indian physician Dr. Madan Kataria in Mumbai, who things laughter is the very best medicine! It combines laughter with yoga and breathing techniques, called Pranayama, which brings more oxygen into our body and brain making us feel more energetic and healthier. Rise to the Rhythm – Thursdays, March 14, 28, 4pm-5pm – Explore West African hand drumming with Tersoo at the Arts Hub. This non-traditional drum circle is open to all abilities and hand drums are provided.

Core Gift Cafe – Fridays, March 1, 15, 22, 11am- 1pm (Note schedule change, no event March 8 or 29)– This event is open to all whether you are familiar with the Core Gift process or if you are curious to learn more. A trained facilitator will be happy to help you with your Core Gift Discovery process. You can learn more about walking your purposeful path by visiting the Core Gift Institute online. Coffee, tea and a buffet of art supplies are available to guests in a casual drop-in style cafe space.

The Karaoke Collective – Fridays, March 1, 15, and 22, 3pm – 4pm (Note Schedule change, no event March 8 or 29) – Would you like to share your love of music with others? Would you like to share your favourite songs or listen to new music? We’ll be gathering several times over the month to share our favourite songs with one another. Singers and music lovers are welcome. Drop ins are also welcome!

Videogame Night – Friday, Mar 22, 5pm – 7pm – Join us for an evening of videogames. $10 sign up is required and space is limited. Pizza and coffee is provided.

Sports Blitz – Tuesdays, March 5, 19, 26, 1pm-3pm (Note Schedule change, no event March 12) – Come out and try pickle ball, wiffle ball, badminton, catch or kick a ball in the back hall at Northwestern Ontario Metis Child & Family Services building 1301 Railway St. No experience necessary.
