Welcome to Fodder Fun School, where we dive into the joyful world of making fodder — the colorful, quirky, totally-you bits and pieces that bringyour mixed media projects to life! Think collage scraps, painted papers, doodles, stamped shapes, textures, trims, and more — all handmade,all one-of-a-kind. In this workshop, we’ll play with paint, paper, Gelli Plates, and a splash of imagination to create your very own stash of artfodder. Whether you’re a seasoned creator or just curious, fodder-making is relaxing, addictive, and SO satisfying. It’s like prepping your artpantry with all the tasty ingredients for future creative feasts! Come make some magic and fill your future projects with imagination andoriginality. Let the fun begin! There will be a $10 fee for Fodder Fun School. Please sign up as space is limited.
DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS – Tuesday May 6th , 5:30 – 8:00pm
Prepare to go on a tabletop roleplaying adventure! Explore this fantasy world, forge friendships and save the day! This is a collection of oneshots, so if you cannot make it to all the games don’t worry! Just jump in when you can! SONIC JOURNEY – Wednesday May 21st, 5:30pm-8pm
This is a Sonic the Hedgehog inspired tabletop roleplaying game using the Powered By The Apocalypse system. Have fun kicking butt and savingthe world from villains like Dr Eggman! This series will be played in a collection of one-shots, so do not worry if you can’t make them all, justjump in when you can! If you have not attended in the past, there will be some premade character sheets for you.

Laughter Yoga combines stretching, laughter and breathing techniques called Pranayama to reduce stress,keep your mind positive during challenging times and to build your laughter muscles in great company. Open to everyone.
SKETCH-A-DOODLE – Wednesdays May 7, 14, 21, & 28– 3:00-4:30PM
Come explore the playful world of doodling with ink and watercolor! We’ll dive into perspective, isometric, bird’s eye, first person, We will learnit all. If you’re a beginner or experienced, this is designed to inspire and ignite your creativity. No fee to participate. Drop-ins are welcome – joinus when you can and unleash your artistic imagination!
RISE TO THE RHYTHM – Thursday, May 1st 4:00pm- 5:00pm
Explore West African Hand Drumming with Tersoo at the Arts Hub. This is a non- traditional drum circle that is open to all abilities. Hand drums are provided.
WEEKEND WARMUP PARTY – Thursday May 15th 1:00-3:00pm
Fun! Fun! Fun! Join us as we play board games and enjoy treats just before the May long weekend. Expect loads of laughter and
hilarity. Let us know if you are coming but we also welcome drop-ins.
CORE GIFT CAFÉ – Fridays, 11:00am- 1:00pm *please note there is no Core Gift Café on May 2nd
This event is open to all if you are familiar with the Core Gift process or if you are curious to learn more. A trained facilitator will be happy to help you with you Core Gift Discovery process. You can learn more about walking your purposeful path by visiting the Core Gift Institute online. Coffee tea and a buffet of art supplies are available casual drop in style café space.
FIGURE DRAWING- Friday May 9th, 5:30-7:00pm
Gather with Tersoo at the Hub to sharpen your skills at this monthly art group. Guest host Harrison DaMant joins us, facilitating a figure drawing event. MEDITATION –Mondays & Thursdays, 8:30-9:00am * OFA *Please note there is no Meditation May 19th.
Join us this month as we travel to the OFA building for the mindful meditation practice. We gather with a brief discussion to set our intentions for the day then listen to a guided, calming meditation to help you cultivate focus, presence, and inner peace in your day. This event offers a supportive space with others for deepening mindfulness focusing on clarity and calm.

Local improvisation theatre troop, the Kenora Dinner Jackets, are back by popular demand! This event is open to everyone to exercise your imagination, play different characters and have a good laugh with fun and accessible improv games led by these experienced hosts. Jam with the house band, the Natural Semitones, featuring musicians from TA School Music Department alongside seasoned players at the Vault on Main Street. This community collaboration offers a chance for everyone to participate in the local live music scene.
