The Association affirms that people with developmental handicaps have the same right and responsibilities as other citizens in the areas of sexual expression.

Where there is a doubt as to the capacity of an individual to give informed consent, the opinion of the Association's Registered Psychologist shall be sought.

Competent Sex Education and Counselling Services shall be provided according to individual client need.
