Executive Limitations Policies

Borrowing Client Property

Staff members shall not borrow client property or assume possession of any client's personal property for either temporary or permanent benefit or gain. (October 1986)

Accepting gifts from clients

Staff members shall not accept gifts from clients in excess of $25.00 without the written approval of an appropriate supervisor.

Staff member/ Appropriate supervisor

staff under director or indirect supervision of a program director/ program director

staff reporting immediately to executive director/ executive director

 executive director/ president

 General occasions where consent may be appropriately given

include:

• gifts in excess of $25.00 contributed by more than one client upon the following occasions:

illness or expression of compassion

in contemplation of staff departing employment with the association (October 1986)

LIBRARY

Library of Books, Journals and Resource Material will be maintained for the use of staff in each division of the Association. (January 1987)
